Bear Gives Thanks by Karma Wilson

In the book Bear Gives Thanks by Karma Wilson, Bear is thankful that his friends come to visit, and that they bring enough food to have a feast, but he feels bad that he has no food to offer them in return because his cupboards are bare. As you read the book (or listen to the book being read on our YouTube channel) with your children or students, draw attention to the use of rhyming words. As a follow-up activity, together make a list of all of the rhyming words you can find in the book, and then add to the list with rhyming words of your own.
